At VistaLáser we use the latest technology to achieve the best results for our patients. The Allegretto Laser 400 Hertz EYE-Q, designed by the German engineering company, Wavelight, is currently the fastest in the world and delivers 400 laser pulses of nine millimetres in diameter per second. The Eye Tracker system monitors the position of the eye 250 times per second using infrared cameras which pass information to the computer that controls the laser so that it follows even the smallest movements of the eye. This means that the treatment is always perfectly centred.

By using T-CAT software, which is the only system of this kind in the world, in addition to eliminating the refractive error it is also possible to modify corneal asphericity in such a way that the quality of vision is actually improved.

Our analyser of optical aberrations, which is used as both a diagnostic aid and during the operation to guide the laser, examines the eye’s refraction in 64 different points. As a result, the quality of vision is maximised by eliminating any optical aberrations and the treatment is customised for each specific area of the cornea.
